Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2026 /Kabar/. The Central Asia-EU International Tourism Forum is planned to be held in Kyrgyzstan in May 2027б Eduard Kubatov, Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development, told at a meeting with Nicolas Faye, the French Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
According to the State Agency for Tourism Development, the Kyrgyz side invited France to actively participate in shaping the forum's agenda and expert panel.
Furthermore, a study tour for French tour operators is planned to be organized either prior to or as part of the forum. It is expected that it will help establish direct contacts between representatives of the two countries' tourism industries and conclude new agreements.
The meeting also discussed strengthening Kyrgyz-French cooperation in tourism and implementing joint historical and cultural projects.
