Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan participated in the INTAC 2026 international tourism exhibition, held from October 2 to 4 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. State Agency for Tourism Development reports.

The official opening of the Kyrgyz Republic’s national tourism stand took place during the exhibition, attended by Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Anvar Anarbaev, and the Director General of the Tourism Development Support Fund, Adilet Zhanuzakov.

The stand showcased Kyrgyzstan’s tourism opportunities and key destinations. With the assistance of the embassy in Malaysia, business meetings were also held with representatives of the country's tourism industry.

The parties discussed increasing tourist flows between the two nations, promoting Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential in the Malaysian market, conducting joint promotional campaigns, participating in the MATTA Fair international tourism exhibition, and cooperating in the field of Muslim-friendly tourism.

"Kyrgyzstan's participation in INTAC 2026 aims to promote the country's tourism potential, establish new partnerships, and expand cooperation with Malaysia in the tourism sector," the statement says.
