Kyrgyzstan, Qatar exchange experiences in social services digitalization

Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2025. /Kabar/. On the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, taking place in Doha, Qatar, Kanat Sagynbaev, Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic met with Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest in the social and labor sphere, including the development of social protection mechanisms, support for vulnerable groups, and strengthening the role of the family as a key social institution.

Kanat Sagynbaev expressed gratitude to the Qatari side for the warm welcome and organization of the meeting, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan attaches particular importance to strengthening humanitarian and social cooperation with the State of Qatar.

The parties noted the significant potential for exchanging experience in social policy, digitalization of social services, support for families with children, and rehabilitation and vocational training for individuals with disabilities. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the areas of social protection for women and children, combating domestic violence, and expanding employment opportunities for youth.

Minister Sagynbaev expressed interest in establishing institutional ties between the two ministries and proposed considering the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar, which would enable the development of systemic and sustainable cooperation in priority areas of social policy.

Minister Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, in turn, noted the Qatari side's readiness to strengthen partnerships, emphasizing the importance of sharing best practices and implementing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the agreements reached and emphasized their mutual readiness to further develop cooperation aimed at protecting social rights and improving the well-being of the population.
