Kyrgyzstan repaired 1,430 km of roads in 2025

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has set a new road repair record.

As of November 20, 2025, 1,430 kilometers of roads have been paved in the country, significantly exceeding the annual plan. Work continues, taking into account weather conditions. Particular attention is being paid to the repair of strategic, national, and local roads, as well as sections of international transport corridors. Almost 80% of the funding comes from the national budget, reflecting the importance of road infrastructure for the country.

Progress by year:

- 2021 — 175 km

- 2022 — 488 km

- 2023 — 673 km

- 2024 — 802 km

- 2025 — 1,430 km

"This progress makes 2025 the most successful year in the history of road construction in Kyrgyzstan, and this figure could increase further by the end of the year," the statement says.
