Kyrgyzstan, Russia to cooperate in training skilled labor migrants

Bishkek, July 15, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Russia intend to strengthen cooperation in training personnel for labor migration and recognizing qualifications. Representatives of two countries signed corresponding memorandum following the meeting, the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The meeting took place on July 14, 2026, at the Center for Independent Certification and Validation under the Ministry of Education. During the talks, the parties discussed training specialists who meet labor market requirements, expanding the professional opportunities of citizens planning to work abroad, and assessing the qualifications of workers.

Representatives of Kyrgyz government agencies and organizations, as well as representatives of employers, personnel and private employment agencies from Russia, the National Agency for Welding Control, and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, participated.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a bilateral memorandum on developing cooperation in labor migration, specialist training, and mutual recognition of qualifications.

The ministry of education noted that the implementation of these agreements will expand opportunities for professional training for citizens and improve the alignment of their skills with the requirements of the international labor market.
