Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2025. /Kabar/. In the 48th week (November 24–30, 2025), 37,068 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza were registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, which is 2.5 times higher than in the previous week, the Ministry of Health reported.
According to data of the ministry, 73% of those infected are children under 14, and 5% of all cases required hospitalization.
The highest incidence rates were recorded in Osh and Bishkek, as well as in the Batken and Chui regions.
Dinara Otorbaeva, Head of the Department for Infectious Disease Surveillance of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Service, stated that the epidemiological situation is being monitored daily.
