Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan exchange experience in energy sector

Bishkek, August 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Bishkek hosts working meeting with delegation of Tajik energy companies at the National Electric Grid (NEGK) of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the company's press service, the delegation included representatives from Barki Tojik and Shabakahoi Intikoli Bark.

During the visit, the Tajik delegation learned about Kyrgyzstan's experience in managing electric grids, reducing electricity losses, ensuring reliable power supply during peak periods, and organizing emergency response operations.

Representatives of Tajik energy companies also visited the data center, call center, and Single Window of NEGK, where they were introduced to the operational features of these units.

Furthermore, the delegation was shown the capabilities of the automated commercial electricity metering system (ACMS), as well as digital services such as the "My Light" and "My Light-Business" mobile apps. These platforms allow consumers to obtain information on energy consumption, make payments, and use electronic services.

Following the meeting, the parties noted the importance of further developing cooperation and exchanging professional experience between energy companies in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
