Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2025 /Kabar/. The joint regional exercise Birlik 2025, which involved military contingents from the defense ministries of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan, concluded at the Kattakurgan training ground of the Central Military District of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense, the participating countries' units jointly, smoothly, and efficiently completed all assigned combat training tasks. Kyrgyz Minister of Defense Ruslan Mukambetov observed the active phase and the official closing ceremony of the exercise.
Speaking at the official closing ceremony, Mukambetov thanked the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan for the high level of organization, hospitality, and fraternal attitude toward the participants. He noted that the exercise marked another stage in strengthening mutually beneficial military cooperation between fraternal nations, confirming the unity of views on ensuring national and regional security, as well as the high level of professional training of military personnel. The ceremony concluded with awards for the most distinguished military personnel and a ceremonial march of personnel who participated in Birlik 2025 joint regional exercise.
