Kyrgyzstan to build agricultural machinery assembly plant

Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is considering building an agricultural machinery assembly plant. Representatives of the China Agricultural Machinery Association (CAMA) have put forward a proposal to this effect.

According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture, the issue was discussed at a meeting between Deputy Minister Bekten Bekbolotov and CAMA delegation, led by Executive Chairman Liu Huanli.

The association is one of China's key industry organizations and unites enterprises, scientific and educational institutions, research centers, and other entities working in agricultural machinery and agricultural mechanization.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of Kyrgyzstan's participation in the annual international agricultural machinery exhibition, as well as the prospects for holding similar exhibitions in Kyrgyz Republic. Chinese side also proposed exploring the possibility of establishing a regional center in Kyrgyzstan for agricultural machinery exhibitions for Central Asian countries.

Chinese side also expressed interest in implementing a project to build an agricultural machinery assembly plant in Kyrgyzstan, which could become a new area of ​​cooperation between the two sides.
