Bishkek, July 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Erlist Akunbekov received heads of major Chinese agro-industrial companies.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and China National Electric Engineering Corporation (CNEEC).

According to the memorandum, the plant construction in Kyrgyzstan with a capacity of up to 600 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers (urea) per year is envisaged. The project is aimed at strengthening the country's food security, developing the agro-industrial sector, and providing domestic agricultural producers with high-quality mineral fertilizers.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and the Chinese biotechnology company Shijiazhuang Shineon was also held.

According to this document, the implementation of the project to build a plant in Kyrgyzstan with a capacity of 25-30 million doses of veterinary vaccines per year that meet international GMP standards is envisaged. The project is aimed at developing the veterinary sector, providing agricultural enterprises with high-quality domestic vaccines, and increasing the country's biological security.

Erlist Akunbekov noted that the implementation of these two projects will make a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex in Kyrgyzstan, attracting investments, introducing modern technologies, creating new jobs, and expanding the country's export capabilities, and expressed confidence in the high-quality implementation of the project in a short period of time.
