Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Representatives of the military departments of the CIS member states have begun arriving in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 63rd meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Air Defense, the Ministry of Defense reported.
According to the ministry, the participants arrived at Tamchy International Airport in the Issyk-Kul Region.
The military delegations were met by Talantbek Talipov, Commander of the Air Defense Forces of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces.
The event is scheduled to discuss issues of interaction and further development of cooperation between the CIS member states in the field of air defense.
