Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2026 /Kabar/. The fact that Kyrgyz migrants abroad now take pride in being Kyrgyz is the result of the effective work of President Sadyr Zhaparov and his team. International producer Islam Satarov shared his view at the opening ceremony of Bishkek Arena stadium.
According to him, just five years ago, the people of Kyrgyzstan could not have even imagined let alone dreamed of the achievements seen today.
"Five years ago, the people of Kyrgyzstan couldn't even dream of such things; it was impossible to even imagine. Everything that was said back then seemed like a fairy tale. But as an international producer and expert, I can say with certainty that no one else in the world could replicate something so remarkable. For instance, we all know how the Paris Olympics went, yet we hosted the World Nomad Games at such a high level that over 3.5 billion people watched them.
Most importantly, our migrants, our fellow Kyrgyz living abroad have come to take pride in their identity. This is the result of the excellent work done by our president and leadership.
Culture is often called 'soft power,' and soft power needs to be put to work. In the future, you will see more initiatives that will amaze and impress the entire world. This is a testament to the creativity of the team behind the World Nomad Games and the Presidential Administration," said Satarov, adding that he had also worked on the World Nomad Games as an editor and associate producer.
"Let’s ensure the upcoming Shakira concert is a success. In 2027, other major global stars who have never performed here before will be coming to our country," the producer noted.
