Kyrgyzstan to implement modern agricultural technologies

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2026 /Kabar/. The 3rd Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Agrarian Universities took place at the K.I. Skryabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reports.

Rakhat Ibraev, Director of the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Livestock and Pastures, participated in the event and delivered welcoming remarks.

During the meeting, they signed an agreement on joint activities aimed at applying innovative technologies in agriculture. The agreement provides for the use of the humic-based product "Peatgel" in Kyrgyzstan for growing vegetable and forage crops in protected environments, rehabilitating pastures, and treating poultry manure.

The agreement was signed by the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures, the Russian company Ecopak LLC, and the Kyrgyz public foundation "Edinstvo" (Unity).

The collaboration will facilitate the integration of scientific research with production, the implementation of modern agricultural technologies, and the further development of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation in the agricultural sector.
