Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2026. /Kabar/. From August 30 to September 6, in connection with events of national importance, Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking enhanced measures to ensure public order and citizen safety.
As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Kabar, traffic restrictions will be imposed in Bishkek from Manas International Airport, as well as along Vasilievsky Trakt, Fuchik Street, Chui, Manas, and Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenues, Zhusup Abdrakhmanov Street, Baitik Baatyr Street, Absamat Masaliev Avenue, and Zhaiyl Baatyr and Barpy Alykulov Streets.
In addition, temporary traffic restrictions will be imposed on certain sections of roads in the Chui region.
In the Issyk-Kul region, restrictions will apply to certain sections of roads, including the section from Tamchy International Airport to Cholpon-Ata, the hippodrome area, and the road leading to Kyrchyn pasture.
We remind you that due to rehearsals for the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games, traffic is temporarily restricted at the Bishkek Arena stadium and surrounding areas, and certain sections of roads will be periodically closed.
The ministry urges residents and visitors to the capital to be understanding of the events and plan their routes in advance.
