Kyrgyzstan to install environmentally friendly heating systems in 21 social institutions

Bishkek, July 24, 2026 /Kabar/. In order to improve air quality in Kyrgyzstan, it is planned to introduce environmentally friendly heating systems in 21 state educational institutions.

Representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision met with experts from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) within the framework of the project "Improving Air Quality in Kyrgyz Republic".

According to the agency, the parties discussed the issues of reducing harmful substances emitted into the air, developing an air quality management system, using clean heating technologies in social institutions, and training specialists.

As a result of the meeting, Kyrgyzstan and KOICA expressed their readiness to continue cooperation in implementing the project.
