Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan continues to actively develop a network of trade and logistics centers designed to improve the efficiency of export-import operations and provide modern storage for agricultural products.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 34 trade and logistics centers are currently operating in the country. Construction of nine more facilities is planned for 2025, five of which have already been commissioned, and the remaining four will be completed by the end of the year.

The construction project for each new center includes several key stages:

  • defining goals and selecting a site;
  • developing a business model, site planning, and infrastructure;
  • obtaining construction permits.

During the construction phase, there will be warehouses and office space, modern equipment and IT systems are installed. Next, processes for receiving, storing, and shipping goods are streamlined, and electronic document management and digital services for clients are implemented. Special consideration will be given to recruiting and training personnel, implementing incentive mechanisms, and a KPI system. At the same time, cooperation with transport companies, retail chains, and government agencies is being strengthened.

After construction is completed, the new center will undergo a test run. Its effectiveness will be assessed based on these results. Future plans include expanding the range of services and implementing innovative technologies, including process automation, e-commerce, and blockchain elements.
