Bishkek, Aug 5, 2026. / Kabar/. The historical feature film "Barsbek Kagan", dedicated to the history of the Kyrgyz people, will be shown in cinemas across the country from September 10, 2026. According to the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, the film is the first part of a five-part epic film called "Kaganat". It depicts important periods in the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood.
The project was prepared for the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Kyrgyzstan, and modern cinematographic methods and artificial intelligence technologies were used in the filming of the film.
As noted, the Kyrgyz National Manas Theater also made a creative contribution to the creation of the epic film.
