Bishkek, July 8, 2026. /Kabar/. Housing construction continues in Chui oblast thanks to the resolution of the land issue under the land amnesty law. Elkinbek Ashirbaev, Chui oblast governor told in Kabar podcast.
According to him, the first phase of implementing the law has been successfully completed, which has allowed for the resolution of numerous outstanding issues. The second phase will address the remaining issues.
"The most important thing is that progress has been made. The land issue is extremely important for people, as human life is always closely connected to the land. In this regard, the State Mortgage Company (SMC) projects aimed at resolving citizens' housing problems play a crucial role. "Currently, five residential projects are underway in Chui region, with two or three more in the planning stages. These projects are expected to provide a total of 21,000 apartments," Ashirbaev said.
