Bishkek, April 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Vice President of the Republic of Turkiye Cevdet Yilmaz as part of his participation in the second meeting of the heads of government and vice presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the consistent development of friendly relations, mutual trust, and strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkiye in recent years. During the conversation, the parties discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas such as economics, investment, education, healthcare, and trade.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the current year will be an important milestone for bilateral cooperation and emphasized that special attention will be paid to the practical implementation of the Intergovernmental Action Plan.
"The leaders of our countries have set a goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover to $5 billion. In this area, we are ready to support Turkish investment and further deepen cooperation," he said.
Cevdet Yilmaz noted the high level of strategic partnership between Turkiye and Kyrgyzstan and the dynamic development of cooperation in all areas. Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and developing fraternal relations.
