Bishkek, July 10, 2026. /Kabar/. Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports Urmat Asanbaev held a working meeting with a delegation from Uzbekistan led by advisor to the Minister of Sports Sharifjon Muminjanov.
According to the agency, during the meeting, they discussed issues of developing cooperation in sports between the two countries, implementing joint projects, and collaborating on international sporting events.
The parties focused on preparations for the 6th World Nomad Games, which will be held from September 1 to 6 in Issyk-Kul region. The meeting participants exchanged views on organizational matters related to the participation of the Uzbekistan national team in the upcoming Games.
Urmat Asanbaev expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for its support in preparing for and hosting the 6th World Nomad Games. He emphasized that this cooperation will greatly contribute to strengthening sporting ties between the two countries and ensuring the successful holding Games at the international level.
In turn, Sharifjon Muminjanov noted Uzbekistan's strong interest in actively participating in the World Nomad Games and stated that cooperation aimed at hosting the Games at the highest level will continue.
