Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan support creation of joint industrial parks

Bishkek, June 23, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will create joint industrial parks. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov announced at the 12th meeting of the Joint Commission on Intergovernmental Bilateral Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, held in Cholpon-Ata.

The meeting focused on activating the activities of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Fund, which is successfully implementing projects beneficial to both parties, and increasing its authorized capital in accordance with the agreements reached.

"We propose to pay special attention to industrial cooperation and joint industrial projects. We support the creation of joint industrial parks and logistics complexes, as well as the development of mechanisms for state support for such projects. We support the creation of a joint interdepartmental working group to develop an agro-industrial cooperation program until 2030," said Adylbek Kasymaliev.
