Bishkek, March 20, 2026 /Kabar/. The World Muay Thai Championships were held in Bangkok from March 10 to 20, where Kyrgyz athletes won 12 medals among juniors and youth, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The team won 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
Gold medals:
Veronika Akhmatova (up to 54 kg);
Diana Zainitdinova (up to 57 kg);
Nurdoolot Borubekov (up to 63 kg);
Robert Pak (up to 67 kg);
Bogdan Proshin (up to 75 kg);
Eldar Eshbaev (up to 81 kg).
Silver medals:
Erkaim Aibekova (up to 60 kg);
Adis Mirbolotov (up to 63 kg).
Bronze medals:
Mekin Asanaliev (up to 57 kg);
Alikhan Zakirov (up to 67 kg);
Rashid Magomedov (up to 71 kg);
Raul Rakhatbek (up to 71 kg).
