Bishkek, April 6, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 5, Kyrgyz boxer Ikhtiyar Nishonov won the Ahmet Cömert International Boxing Tournament, which was held in Istanbul.
According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ikhtiyar competed in the 70 kg weight class and defeated Australia's William Mlacic in the final.
He began his tournament run in the round of 16, where he defeated athletes from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Germany.
Ahmet Cömert International Tournament, which began on March 29, concluded on April 5.
