Bishkek, July 1, 2026 /Kabar/. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers attended a ceremony to present the keys to 100 vehicles to Kyrgyzstan's ministry of health, which took place on the eve of Medical Worker's Day.

During the event, the chairman outlined the key priorities of state healthcare policy, after which he presented the Ministry with the keys to 100 new domestically produced official vehicles.

On behalf of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev warmly congratulated doctors, nurses, and veterans of the industry on their upcoming professional holiday, emphasizing the sacred significance of their noble work.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that stable economic growth in recent years has allowed the state to significantly increase funding for the social sector, particularly healthcare. He cited specific indicators: while the healthcare sector budget in 2021 was 21.5 billion soms, by 2025 this figure had increased 2.4-fold, reaching 52 billion soms. The chairman also recalled that, as of April 1 of this year, medical workers' salaries were increased once again, with an additional 18.5 billion soms allocated from the budget.

Particular emphasis in his speech was placed on equal access to healthcare services across the republic.

The chairman emphasized that the donated domestically produced vehicles will increase the mobility of medical professionals in the regions, significantly reduce travel time to patients, and help save hundreds of lives in hard-to-reach areas.

Concluding his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev sincerely thanked the doctors, including those working in remote and mountainous areas, for their dedication to duty and congratulated them on their upcoming professional holiday.
