Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2026 /Kabar/. From September 20 to October 3, 2026, a military contingent from the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic is participating in joint exercises involving member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the ministry's press service reported.
The report said that the military contingent departed for the exercise site on September 20, 2026.
The Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense contingent will take part in the joint CSTO exercises "Vzaimodeystvie-2026" (Interaction-2026), "Poisk-2026" (Search-2026), and "Echelon-2026," as well as the strategic command-and-staff exercise "Tsentr-2026" (Center-2026).
The exercises will be held at the Chebarkul training ground in the Russian Federation.
