Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2025. /Kabar/. A send-off ceremony for the Kyrgyz national team to the Asian Youth Para Games, which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was held in Bishkek today.
According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov participated in the event.
Baisalov urged the athletes to defend the country's honor with dignity at the upcoming important competitions, praising their will, resilience, and self-confidence as a great example for the younger generation.
Kazybek Moldaziyev, Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, noted that every effort and every decisive step will be inscribed in gold letters in Kyrgyzstan's sporting history.
During the event, Azizbek Narbayev, captain of the national team and para powerlifter, was presented with the state flag of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Asian Youth Para Games will be held from December 7 to 14, and a 40-person delegation will depart from Kyrgyzstan. This includes 20 athletes, 10 coaches, and other team members. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan will compete in eight sports, including swimming, taekwondo, track and field, table tennis, powerlifting, goalball, arm wrestling, and boccia.
