Bishkek, July 1, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been relieved of his post due to his transfer to another position, presidential administration reports.
Maksat Asanaliev has been appointed acting chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
Maksat Asanaliev's candidacy will be submitted to the Kyrgyz Parliament for approval for subsequent appointment as chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
