Kyrgyzstan's sugar exports exceed 9,300 tons

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan exported 9,357.3 tons of sugar this year, according to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the ministry, sugar beet cultivation in the country has been planted on an area of ​​11,800 hectares this year. Developing sugar beet cultivation and sugar production contributes to food security in the country, the stable operation of the processing industry, and the expansion of the export potential of domestic products.

The ministry continues to work to increase agricultural production, develop the processing industry, and expand domestic exports to foreign markets.
