Bishkek, July 13, 2026. /Kabar/. In the first six months of this year, transport services contributed more than 614 million soms to the state budget, a 17% increase compared to the same period last year, Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
According to their data, this figure increased by almost 91 million soms compared to last year.
In the first six months, 10,275 licenses were issued in the transport sector. The majority of these were licenses for international cargo transportation. More than 9.3 million soms were collected from license fees.
More than 117,000 permits were issued for international road transport, generating 401.6 million soms in revenue for the state budget. This represents a significant increase compared to last year.
Furthermore, transport enforcement was strengthened: more than 421,000 vehicles were inspected across the country. As a result, 6,766 violations were identified, and fines imposed totaled 101,625,500 soms.
Administrative fines collected 70.3 million soms for the budget, more than double the amount collected for the same period last year.
Furthermore, weight and dimension control activities contributed 127.3 million soms to the state budget through the issuance of special permits, compensation for road damage, and weighing services.
