Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklykaya.
According to the Foreign Ministry's press service, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, as well as plans for organizing mutual visits at the highest levels in 2026.
Kazakbaev briefed the Deputy Minister in detail on the political and economic reforms being carried out in Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
In turn, Kulaklykaya congratulated the Ambassador on the successful conduct of the parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic, noting the high level of democratic organization. The parties also discussed in detail cooperation in education, medicine, increasing mutual trade turnover, as well as mutual travel and conditions of stay for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
Preliminary agreements were reached on holding consular consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.
Following the meeting, agreements were also reached to continue joint work to expand and strengthen cooperation, including at multilateral venues, including the UN and the Organization of Turkic States.
