Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is considering France, Italy, and Japan as new destinations for organized employment of citizens. Erkinbek Karimov, head of the Department at the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, told Kabar.
According to him, the ministry is constantly working to expand the geography of organized employment for citizens, develop new labor markets, and reduce labor migration's dependence on a limited number of primary destinations.
In accordance with the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Second Phase of the Migration Policy Concept of Kyrgyz Republic for 2021–2030, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Order No. 139-r of March 5, 2026, the ministry developed Roadmap for Expanding the Geography of Employment Abroad.
The interdepartmental coordinating working group has been established for this purpose.
"As part of this work, new areas of organized employment are being considered, and cooperation with competent authorities of foreign countries and foreign employers is being developed. New European destinations—France and Italy—and Japan among Asian countries are currently being explored," noted Erkinbek Karimov.
