Bishkek, Jan. 9, 2026. /Kabar/. A new traffic light with laser pedestrian crossing illumination has been installed at the intersection of Kurmanzhan Datka and Frunze Streets in Bishkek.
According to the mayor's office, the new traffic light was developed and manufactured by the municipal enterprise "City Road and Transport Infrastructure" for the first time.
The laser illumination significantly improves pedestrian visibility for drivers in adverse weather conditions like fog, rain, which directly contributes to a reduction in accidents and improved road safety.
This project demonstrates the technical capabilities of the municipal enterprise and aims to introduce modern solutions into the city's road infrastructure and reduce the number of traffic accidents.
