Bishkek, April 2, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Health Bakytbek Kadyraliev held a meeting on maternal and child health issues.
According to the ministry, Kadyraliev emphasized that reducing maternal mortality requires the combined efforts of both the healthcare system and the women themselves.
"It is important that every pregnant woman registers for pregnancy promptly and takes responsibility for the health of her unborn child. The healthcare system is obligated to ensure monitoring, support, and the necessary medical care," the Deputy Minister noted.
The meeting discussed current indicators and key issues in the area of maternal and child health that require increased efforts at all levels.
