Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. Mayor of Osh city Zhanarbek Akaev met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Abylkair Skakov.
According to the city administration, the parties discussed current issues and promising areas for bilateral cooperation during the talks. Zhanarbek Akaev noted the close partnership between the city of Osh and Kazakhstan across trade and economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian, and tourism sectors, and expressed interest in further strengthening ties in all these areas.
In addition, the meeting included an exchange of views on developing the interstate partnership, implementing new joint projects, and promoting mutually beneficial initiatives.
