Bishkek, Nov. 21, 2025. /Kabar/. Women's wrestling athlete Meerim Zhumanazarova has won the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games.
According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Meerim Zhumanazarova competed in the 68 kg weight class. In her first bouts, the Kyrgyzstani athlete defeated Halima Akter of Bangladesh 6-0 and Azerbaijani Nigar Mirzazada 12-1, advancing to the final.
In the decisive final bout, Meerim Zhumanazarova defeated Uzbek athlete Svetlana Oknazarova 11-0, winning the gold medal and becoming the champion of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games.
