Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. Mederbek Aliev, First Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, and Talaibek Masabirov, head of Ala-Too parliamentary group, are participating in the 24th Autumn Session of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA).
According to the Parliament, the sessions are taking place in Andorra la Vella from October 7 to 9. As part of the proceedings, Talaybek Masabirov delivered a presentation on inter-parliamentary cooperation, inclusivity, and security issues in the era of digitalization.
In his address, the MP highlighted Kyrgyzstan's experience, noting that digitalization must take into account the population's actual living conditions, including the needs of residents in remote villages. He emphasized that, alongside the development of digital platforms, it is crucial to improve digital literacy among the public and ensure information security for women, the elderly, and the youth.
It is worth noting that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly comprises over 300 parliamentarians from 57 member states.
The Assembly serves as a dynamic forum for inter-parliamentary interaction, election observation, and the promotion of democratic and human rights principles. Furthermore, it actively contributes to developing shared solutions aimed at preventing conflicts, resolving crises, and ensuring long-term stability across the entire OSCE region through mechanisms of parliamentary diplomacy.
