Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan currently has no shortage of basic food products, stocks fully cover the domestic market, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. The ministry also noted that food fairs have been organized in all regions of the country. They will continue until June 2026.
"Special schedule of fairs has been approved for each district, each day of the week. Responsible local officials are responsible for ensuring that they are held in accordance with the established schedule. Food products are sold at fairs at more affordable prices than in regular markets. Visitors can purchase essential goods for an entire week," the statement says.
The fairs are held to further support food security and provide citizens with high-quality products at affordable prices.
