Bishkek, Dec.12, 2025. /Kabar/. Japanese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Hirano Ryuichi, and Nishigata Kotaro, Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Kyrgyz Republic, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Finance.
Minister of Finance warmly welcomed the guests and congratulated the ambassador on his assumption of office. This was the minister's first official meeting with Hirano.
The parties discussed the current state of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations, prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, and further deepening collaboration with JICA. Minister emphasized the Kyrgyz Republic's readiness to continue working together within the framework of the outlined strategic vector.
The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual understanding and constructive interaction, and the participants reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening bilateral ties between the countries.
