Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2026 /Kabar/. Almaz Imangaziev, the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, met with Antje Grawe, the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic, to mark the conclusion of her four-year tenure in the country.
The Labor Ministry’s press service said that the parties discussed key areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and the UN system, as well as the results of joint efforts in social protection, employment, labor migration, and the promotion of decent working conditions.
Almaz Imangaziev thanked Antje Grawe for her contribution to fostering cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UN, and for supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening social protection and improving citizens' well-being.
In turn, Antje Grawe noted the importance of continued close collaboration between the Ministry and the UN system in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the significance of joint work on social protection, employment, and migration issues.
The parties expressed confidence that their established partnership and the results achieved would facilitate further cooperation, serving the interests of Kyrgyzstan's sustainable socio-economic development and improving the population's quality of life.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Almaz Imangaziev thanked Antje Grawe for the fruitful cooperation, wished her success in her future professional endeavors, and presented her with a departmental medal.
