Bishkek, Sept. 8, 2026 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapat Aitiev will host a series of autumn master classes and lectures on traditional art, decorative and applied arts, and the history of book art, the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reported.
The program will include practical classes and educational lectures on traditional fabric techniques, diatype printing, calligraphy, and the history of book art.
The master classes and lectures will be led by museum research associates Cholpon Demut-Osmonalieva, Munara Abdukaharova, and Sofia Kharitonova.
The masterclasses will be held on a rotating basis, allowing participants to explore various traditional arts and gain practical skills.
The events are being held as part of the joint Official Development Assistance (ODA) project between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea on the Promotion and Digitalization of Cultural Heritage for 2023–2026 at the Center of Traditional Crafts.
