Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2025. /Kabar/. New equipment from Turkiye for safflower oil filtration plant has been delivered to the Ak-Tala district of Naryn, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture reported.

According to private entrepreneur Akylbek Abdyldayev, the delivery was made possible with financial support from UNDP project. The new production line will produce up to 800 kg of safflower oil per day. The equipment is already being installed, and the plant will begin full-scale operations soon. It is noted that previously, the plant only produced up to 50 liters of oil per day, based on customer orders. Since its launch in the fall of 2023, the plant has processed 5 tons of safflower seeds, and more than 10 tons in 2024.

"Currently, the price of 1 liter of safflower oil is 200 soms. The installation of new equipment will open up additional opportunities for the development of the processing industry in the region and will strengthen support for local producers," the statement said.
