Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2026. /Kabar/. In early September, a new gas well, No. 3, was brought into operation at the Severny Kukurtli field in Lebap velayat, Turkmenportal reported.
According to ussatnews.com, the new well has a daily output of 75 thousand cubic meters of natural gas. The extracted gas is supplied to the population of the Darganata etrap.
In the near future, plans call for producing up to 3 tons of gas condensate per day from the new well.
Currently, the Malay, Bagaja, Sakar, Farap, and Kukurtli fields are under the management of the Kukurtli Linear Production Department of the "Lebapgazçykaryş" Directorate. Coordinating operations at these sites, maintaining high technical reliability of the facilities, and effectively utilizing well potential are the department's primary objectives.
