Bishkek, July 27, 2026 /Kabar/. A delegation from the Osh City Hall took part in the International Sister Cities Forum, which took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Representatives of municipalities, international organizations, and the business community from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkiye, Japan, the United States, France, and Russia participated in the event.
Osh and Namangan cities signed memorandum of cooperation as part of the forum. The document provides for the development of cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational, cultural, and sports spheres.
Furthermore, Myktybek Osmonaliev, Chief of Staff of Osh City Hall, held a series of meetings with international partners. The parties discussed attracting investment, developing tourism potential, and implementing digital solutions in city governance.
The city hall noted that the development of international ties contributes to strengthening Osh's investment attractiveness and creates new opportunities for the city's sustainable development.
