Bishkek, April 23, 2026. /Kabar/. Kubanychbek Omuarliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held a meeting with Masao Takahashi, Head of Asia, Oceania, and Latin America of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, among the contacts held in Astana on 22 April 2026 within the framework of the Regional Ecological Summit.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the critical importance of healthcare as a fundamental pillar for the social and economic development of the Turkic region and discussed strategic cooperation in healthcare and immunization.
