Bishkek, March 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held a meeting with Akın Gürlek, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye on 10 March 2026 in Ankara.
Secretary General Omuraliev congratulated Akın Gürlek on his appointment as Minister of Justice and conveyed his sincere wishes for success in his new and important responsibilities.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on enhancing collaboration in the field of justice, promoting the rule of law, and facilitating the exchange of legal expertise among Turkic States.
Particular attention was given to the development of joint initiatives aimed at improving judicial cooperation, harmonizing legal frameworks, and supporting capacity-building programs among member and observer states. Secretary General highlighted the importance of deeper institutional cooperation in the justice sector to support the broader goals of the Organization, including regional integration, good governance, and sustainable development.
Both sides expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation and to explore new opportunities for collaboration in the field of justice within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
