OTS highlights establishment of TurkIPAnet at ESCAP–TIF Regional Dialogue Session

Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2026 /Kabar/. The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Deputy Secretary General Mr. Merey Mukazhan participated in the Regional Dialogue Session: “Strengthening Regional Investment Attraction and Promotion Cooperation in Central Asia and Türkiye,” co-organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), held in Istanbul on 11 February 2026.

During the event, Deputy Secretary General Mukazhan delivered a keynote a speech on the activities of OTS, economic cooperation within the organization, as well as role of the recently established the Turkic Investment Promotion Network (TurkIPAnet), emphasizing the growing importance of structured regional cooperation to enhance investment attraction, improve policy coordination, and increase the visibility of the Turkic region as a competitive investment destination.

Deputy Secretary General Mukazhan also stressed the value of partnerships with international and regional stakeholders, welcoming the dialogue facilitated by ESCAP and TIF, and reaffirming the OTS commitment to promoting results-oriented cooperation that supports sustainable economic development and investment-led growth.

At the session dedicated to the activities of TurkIPAnet, OTS Project Director Farid Mammadov informed on the TurkIPAnet future activities, OTS investment portal initiative and possible cooperation opportunities. By informing on the future plans within TurkIPAnet and needs of the OTS Member States in this field, Mammadov identified specific areas where ESCAP could provide vital analytical, coordination, and capacity-building support to ensure that agreed cooperation actions are executed effectively.
