Bishkek, April 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov on 1 April 2026 in Baku, within the framework of the 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the OTS.
During the meeting the secretary general and prime minister discussed the agenda and program of the 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the OTS. They also exchanged their views on the cooperation areas within the Organization, and discussed the current developments in the region and beyond. It was emphasized the significance of the solidarity of the Turkic countries during the current situation.
The parties stated encouraging of the cooperation within the OTS, in the field of economy, transport, energy and trade. The parties also emphasized the importance of the meetings of the Heads of Government/Vice President within the OTS, in terms of strengthening and enhancing the relations among its countries.
