Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, participated in the Great Hun-Turkic Kurultaj held in Bugac, Hungary.
Organized by the Hungarian Turan Foundation, the three-day event brought together representatives of more than 27 Turkic communities, including participants from all OTS Member and Observer States, and offered a rich program of traditional sports, music, handicrafts and cultural activities. This year, newly discovered archaeological findings and anthropological facial reconstructions were presented for the first time.
The participation of the Secretary General highlighted the Organization’s commitment to preserving and promoting the shared cultural and historical heritage of the Turkic World, while strengthening cultural cooperation and people-to-people ties among its Member States and Observers.
