Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2026. /Kabar/. On 12–16 February 2026, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), participated in the Munich Security Conference 2026 (MSC), where high-level discussions on global security, connectivity, and the evolving international order were held.
The Conference brought together heads of state and government, senior officials, and leading experts to exchange views on the most pressing international challenges. In this context, the secretary general followed panel discussions addressing key geopolitical and economic developments, including the future of the international system, the interlinkages between trade and security, and connectivity initiatives shaping global dynamics.
The discussions held during the Conference were particularly relevant for the OTS region and its Member States, as the Organization continues to deepen cooperation in the fields of security dialogue, strategic connectivity, and sustainable development. The conference underlined the importance of strengthening multilateral engagement and advancing coordinated approaches to emerging global challenges.
On the sidelines of the Conference, the secretary general held contacts with his counterparts and engaged in bilateral meetings.
