Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/.An article by the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, has been published in the special volume “Türkiye–Kyrgyzstan Relations in the 35th Year of Independence”, prepared on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and 35 years of Türkiye–Kyrgyzstan relations. The publication brings together contributions examining the development of bilateral relations across political, economic, cultural, educational and other fields.
Entitled “Türkiye–Kyrgyzstan Relations: Regional Integration and the Institutionalization of Strategic Partnership within the Framework of the Organization of Turkic States,” the article reflects Ambassador Omuraliev’s unique perspective shaped by his service as Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Türkiye from 2019 to 2022 and subsequently as Secretary General of the OTS. It examines the evolution of bilateral relations and their growing dimension within the framework of the OTS.
The publication was presented by President of Türkiye H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov during President Erdoğan’s visit to Kyrgyzstan on 31 August–1 September 2026.
